I grew up in Scottsdale, Arizona…
Scottsdale is a beautiful city in the metropolitan Phoenix area. My elementary school playground sat at the base of Camelback Mountain, and I remember lots of space, sunny blue skies and puffy cotton ball clouds. I spent a lot of time outdoors rolling in the green grass, building forts in our fruit trees and swimming in our pool. Pure joy.

One great thing about being an only child…
Is spending a lot of time with adults. I never had a problem sitting at a dinner table for long periods of time enjoying great conversations about a lot of different subjects. Everything in my house was available to me. I never heard "don't touch that" just because I was a kid. My parents showed me how to work things like the stereo, television, VCR and camera as soon as I could walk and talk, and I always took great care of our belongings.

My family was a huge influence in my life…
They were always so supportive of everything I did. They showed up for every school choir concert, youth theater production, cheerleading competition or birthday party, so I felt very loved. My parents were big supporters of the arts and we attended a lot of concerts and theater productions. There was always a lot of music in my house, whether from classic vinyl spinning on dad’s turntable or from mom's fingers on the piano keys.

Once I discovered the joy of theatre…
It was all I wanted to do. I was the Student Body President in middle school and also on our state champion pom and cheer team, but despite all of my extracurricular activities, I couldn’t live without my shows. My very first role was in the ensemble in a children’s play called "The Reluctant Dragon." I had one line: "Isn't he handsome?" and I got a laugh. Once I heard the laughter and applause, I was hooked!

The best part about being in the Disney family…
Is that it has literally opened up the whole world for me. I hear from fans on a daily basis from places like Japan, Latvia, Poland, Russia, Italy, Greece, Australia, France, UK, Israel, Africa, New Zealand and all because they have seen me in a Disney project. To have people write and tell me I made them laugh or cry and that they want to know more about me is humbling beyond belief.

My mom and my girlfriends keep me grounded…
My mom is my mom no matter how old I get or what is going on in my life and I depend on her a lot for advice and support. My girlfriends keep me from taking things too seriously and are constant reminders that humor is the best remedy for any situation.

I usually have a smile on my face…
And attempt to live by the golden rule of treating everyone with kindness and keep a "glass is half full" attitude. I am someone who tries to find a good balance between my professional and personal life and wants to take advantage of every opportunity to see the world and have great life experiences so that I never look back and say "I wish I had…"
