Disney wants more JONAS.

2nd season here we come!! We need to brin up our views, but lets wait and see how things turn out. xD

The Jonas Brothers are keepers at Disney Channel.

The cable channel has ordered a second season of the pop stars' comedy series "Jonas" and has tapped new executive producers: showrunner Lester Lewis and director Paul Hoen.

Disney Channels Worldwide entertainment president Gary Marsh called Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas, who are in Italy as part of the European leg of their Live Nation-produced world concert tour, to give them the pickup news.

Production on Season 2 of "Jonas" is slated to begin in February for a premiere in the middle of next year.

Additionally, Disney Channel has renewed the trio's short-form reality series "Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream" for a second season. Filming already is under way for a premiere early next year.

Prep & Landing - Premiere

Chelsea attended the "Prep And Landing" premiere and was interviewed by DJs Ernie D. and Jake from Radio Disney.

Can’t tell The Jonas Brothers apart? Neither could we until Chelsea set us straight with this handy guide:

Nick is the youngest. He is 17, and he’s definitely the brains behind the band. He’s the little brother, but he’s in charge of it all and he writes pretty much all of the music. He definitely has “it”, whatever “it” is, Nick’s got it. He plays drums and keyboard and guitar and writes and does all of it well. So he’s definitely the musical one in that family.

Joe is the middle brother. And he’s just the entertainer. He’s a goofball on and off set. He’s constantly pulling pranks and getting us into trouble and he’s great when he’s on stage. He really sells it.

Kevin is the oldest. He should be a salesman. He’s really easy to talk to, always dresses to the nines, and is definitely the manager of the band. He keeps everybody in check.

Harmonies for Haiti

This is from Chelsea's Offical blog. Basically she started a music-a-thon to raise money for the earthquake victims in Haiti. Chelsea decided to contact all of her friends in the music business, and any connections she could find and got all of them together to start this. I'm proud Chelsea stepped up all oon her own, and kicked off the sweat pants!

"The disaster in Haiti has had me glued to the TV, but I hit a point where watching CNN in my sweatpants and indulging in my third popsicle just wasn’t cutting it anymore. Being a young, working actress in Hollywood has granted me many amazing opportunities, so I figured it was time to finally put some bite behind my bark. Just like everyone else, I’ve texted “Haiti” to 90999 and Twittered about the crisis multiple times, but upon hearing story after story of the horrible atrocities these human beings are struggling to endure, it became clear that I needed to step it up.

I’m a big advocate of the music scene and even had the opportunity to tour with a few up and coming bands over the summer. On the other side of that, I’m lucky enough to work on a television series with one of the most recognizable bands in the world. So I sat down at my computer and emailed every musician/artist for which I have contact information. I also dropped a note to the booking agent for a few small venues to see if he would be willing to open his doors for a fundraiser, with 100% of the proceeds going to The Red Cross and their work in Haiti. As the day unfolded, excitement about the potential event began to escalate. I was overwhelmed by the response from friends, co-workers, bands, and, as things turned out, the booking agent, Andy. He responded to my email in enthusiastic haste, and has offered to help me pull off what I think could be a monumentally charitable night. In less than six hours, the prospect of this event being hosted by a couple of bands in a 100 capacity room quickly became something much, much bigger; as this venue caps out at 1,000 kids.

This isn’t about press or being seen. This is going back to the “love in” days of the 60’s; where audience and artists alike gather together, not only for a night of incredible music, but also for a bigger purpose. A good time for a good cause. The needs in Haiti will be ongoing and let’s show them that the youth of America cares and can contribute to making a difference. Details will be forthcoming.

It’s time to do something for the world beyond texting. Here’s to “Harmonies for Haiti.”
